Moonspell - Unveil New Album Cover Art
Portuguese metallers Moonspell decided to reveal today the cover that will grace Extinct. Their new album is coming out next year in March 2015 via Napalm Records and the cover artwork was done by Seth Siro Anton (Septicflesh) once again. You can take a look at the cover below. As for the music, you will have to wait a little bit more for that.

The band explained: "We have arrived safely in Warsaw, Poland and are just chilling out and resting to kick some ass tomorrow in the last show of a very intense year, or a couple of years to be more accurate. We take the chance to reveal our new cover artwork done by Seth Siro Anton once again. Goes without saying that we feel privileged of having him creating such spectacular, disturbing and impressive paintings to adorn our music.

"This will be the cover of our jewelcase edition but we can already let you know that all editions available (Napalm deluxe box; Mediabook and Vinyl LP) will have different cover artwork!"

I don't really mind the cover artwork as long as the music is good, because I've got quite high expectations for this one. When an artwork is done astonishingly well, I notice it, when it's bad, I just forget all about it.

It's baffling to see how many people on FB love it yet here almost everyone hates it. I mean, I like this band and I'm looking forward to the new album, but artwork is a BIG

Then again, most of Moonspell's artwork sucks in my opinion. Some of them I do like (Wolfheart), but none of them I would call great. But this one has to be the very worst artwork so far.
