Quebec's progressive metal band Moonlyght has shared online "A Distant Illusion Of Freedom", a song that will appear on their upcoming album Return To Desolation. The record is due out next year on Blast Head Records. You can listen to the song here below while you wait for that.




As usual, Moonlyght will have some guest musicians on the album: Catherine Elvira Chartier (from Liva) and Julie Lemelin (female vocals). Tommy Demers from Blinded By Faith will also make a guest appearance on vocals, and their former guitarist Simon Rhéaume Goulet will play a guitar solo on a 10-minute song called "Universal Pain."
