Soundgarden - New Album Coming In 2016
Guitarist Kim Thayil of Soundgarden has told The Sydney Morning Herald that the band plans to make a new album in the next few months for a 2016 release. So, that means that King Animal (2012), their comeback album, will have a follow-up. The band will begin working on it after their Australian shows this month. What are your hopes for the band's next album?
"No studio has been chosen and no songs are written yet," says Thayil. "When we finish these shows in Australia we'll spend a month or more working on it. It's definitely going to happen."
He added: "We worked with producer Adam Kasper on our last album and I wouldn't be surprised if we hook up with him again."
