According to a report from Las Vegas Review Journal, former Goatlord guitarist and founding member Joe Frankulin murdered two people before committing suicide a few weeks ago in Las Vegas. This horrifying and disturbing act happened in early October when Joe Frankulin murdered a woman and her son before fatally shooting himself.

Frankulin reportedly shot Jennifer Bagley Donoso inside her home sometime around 7:00 a.m. Donoso's three children were also in the house at the time. Following the initial shooting, her daughter ran to a neighbor's house for help. Once police arrived, however, they became aware that one of the children was missing. Frankulin allegedly took one of Donoso's sons back to his house. Before officers were able to reach out to Frankulin, they discovered the boy's body, along with Frankulin's, in the house's garage.

An anonymous neighbor told reporters that Frankulin had been acting strange shorty before the murders. He had sold most of his possessions throughout the past few weeks and barricaded his home, covering the windows with boards and street signs. Police had been called to check on Frankulin multiple times, the last time taking place just days before the murders. A motive has not yet been established.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help the victims' family.

The American metallers Goatlord released an album and several demos in the '90s, plus a disc of previously unreleased material in 2007.
