Blackened death metal purveyors Withered, who are about to release their new and fourth album Grief Relic, have revealed the second new song so far. Their new single is titled "Downward" and is already available for streaming at Stereogum. If you want to hear it, just click play and enjoy it.

Grief Relic‬ is coming out on the 27th of May through Season Of Mist. The band has already shared the tune "Husk" previously as well.





Vocalist/guitarist Ethan Lee McCarthy said: "It's about being so overwhelmed with your inner demons that you're not even thinking about the root problems anymore and suffering is all that you are. Or having your problems Overwhelm you so badly that you can't see straight."
