Skeletonwitch - Part Ways With Drummer
Dustin Boltjes is no longer the man behind the drumkit in blackened thrash metallers Skeletonwitch. Jon Rice (ex-Job For A Cowboy) will be handling drum duties for the time being. The band will embark on a North American tour with Obituary, Pallbearer, and Dust Bolt in May.
Here's their statement: "At this time, we feel it's necessary to inform everyone that Skeletonwitch has parted ways with Dustin Boltjes. Dustin gave much of his creativity, time, and energy to the band, and for that we thank him and wish him the best. Jon Rice will be handling drum duties for the time being. See you all on the road."
The good news is that the band is planning to release a new album this year, having recorded it with Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studio in Salem.
