More than three decades have passed since Canadian thrash metal legends Dead Brain Cells (DBC) released their most recent full-length studio album. However, that is about to change as the band recently revealed in a post on Facebook that they are working on new music, which they hope to release next year.

Formed in 1986, DBC released only two studio albums, Dead Brain Cells (1987) and Universe (1989), before calling it quits in 1991. An EP of unreleased music, aptly titled Unreleased, came out posthumously in 1995. The band has never released new music despite the fact they been back together for more than a decade.
