U.S. death metal veterans Imprecation have confirmed the passing of their drummer Ruben Elizondo. Ruben was part of the band since the very beginning back in 1991.

The band's statement: ''8/29/2021 we lost our brother Ruben Elizondo to COVID. Right now we do not have words to express how devastated we are in the band. Our sincerest condolences to his family in this time of loss."
