Yeah I was disappointed as well when I saw the cover, that's your typical Nightwish art. I thought that with their "End of an Era" approach they'd start with something new and fresh, I guess I was wrong!

They need to find someone else to make their covers, but oh well. I just want to hear the song and new singer, I could care less about the cover.

I don't think the cover's that awful....things aren't that bad...but well...I have to agree that the style is very Nightwishy indeed...and to be honest, I've never been a particular fan of their cover design...but the most important thing is still the new singer...they're playing on our nerves...there must be something about the vocalist that they're keeping it in secret so ferociously....

Oh come on! That is a complete joke! Sarah Brightman is an established vocalist in classical/operatic style music, and here concerts costs $300 a ticket! now why would she want to join Nightwish?!

Gee there is alot of negative thoughts to this cover, its not that bad. Its well made. The house could have been made a little more... either homely or evil (depending on what the song is about). It looks more like a concentration camp style house haha.
Its a single too, not an album, remember that, its just a little story/

As I've said in the Nightwish thread, it looks like a screenshot from some fantasy game like Neverwinter Nights 2, except nowhere near as cool. It's one fucking weird cover, it doesn't look epic, or metal, or classical at all. Oh well, provided the music is still good I suppose I can tolerate it.

I still can't figure out why people are complaining so much about the cover. Covers should have something to do with the mood or theme of the music, perhaps this will be entirely appropriate, who knows? It's not amazing artwork, but seems good on its own
