Panopticon - Announce European Shows With Afsky
Two atmospheric black metal representatives, Panopticon and Afsky, will be joining forces this coming June for a short run of European shows. Check out the confirmed dates and venues below.
Panopticon mastermind Austin L. Lunn comments: ''We are so grateful to share the stage with them and to use this time to draw the support cycle for ...And Again Into The Light to a close. With this tour, 'The Lights of the Past' will guide our way into the future, as we perform songs from ...And Again Into The Light and our back catalogue with a heavy focus on Kentucky, celebrating over a decade since its release.
"This tour stands to be less contemplative than 2022's 'Lights Of Oblivion' tour, alongside our treasured friends, GRIFT… this time shifting gears to a jubilant, pummeling and musically aggressive setlist, loudly celebrating the end of past sorrows and relishing in the joy of what is to come. As we prepare for The Rime Of Memory to be released, we will have one last look at the lights of the past. Don’t let the fire burn out!"
Ole Pedersen Luk from Afsky adds: Stoked to reveal that we will be co-headlining this UK/Eu tour with Panopticon this June. This is something that I personally are looking very much forward to. We have crossed paths before and therefore I know this will be great one. The artwork is made by the man Austin himself. See you soon UK!"
