German veterans Rage have checked in with a statement, explaining the absence of guitarist Stefan "Stürmer" Weber on their recent live shows. Due to personal reasons, he will be taking a break for an indefinite period.

Statement from the band as follows: "Hey Rageheads! As some of you have probably noticed, the past few shows were performed without Stefan. Because of personal reasons, he will be taking a break for an indefinite period. It wasn’t an easy decision to make, as you all can imagine, but as a band we fully respect and support him, of course. For us it’s obvious, that by staying united, we can overcome any challenge that may come our way.

"Rage will continue again as a trio and ensure that all upcoming concerts take place as scheduled. We are looking forward to seeing you all on the road. Take care and see you soon!"
