Celtic Legacy - Guitarist Leaves The Band
After one year of service, guitarist David Quinn and Irish-based heavy metallers Celtic Legacy have parted ways. The band's full statement can be read below.
Band says: "It is with regret that we have to announce the departure of Dave Quinn from Celtic Legacy. 'Q', as he came to be known due to the high volume of Daves already present, was only with us a short time, but it was becoming evident in recent weeks that his heavy work schedule was limiting the time he could realistically put into working on the band material and balancing all that with his own domestic life. He has to pay the bills the same as the rest of us so his day job was obviously going to take priority and there are only so many hours in the day. We gave a it a good go but with gig commitments pending and a 90 minute setlist to nail down, we had to have a discussion on how to proceed. And that's the long and short of it really. Q understood our position and we understood his. There are no hard feelings on either side, he's a great bloke, we're still mates and we'll share a pint in April. Dave's always going to be part of the (admittedly rather large) Celtic Legacy extended family.
"On behalf of the band and its followers, we wish you all the best Dave, and thanks!"
