The band members certainly have the skill and talent to make an album that lives up to that gorgeous cover art. I suppose the musical results depend on if they've finally been shaken out their creative comfort zone by something or someone since their last album.
Hmmm... it seems this might not be "Theory of Evolution Part III" after all. The album title and song names have a feel of "old Nightwish themes," such as lost innocence, longing for home, and childhood.
Does give off early Nightwish vibes to be honest. I'm not a fan of that sound, but it will be interesting to see how similar it is if they return to the early sound.

I agree with others here. It gives off some old Nightwish vibes. The last two albums seriously lacked the magic of their other albums, and so here's to hoping...
The last great album released by this band was Imaginaerum - so, it's been awhile.
I honestly have not been impressed with 90% of the Floor-era sound, and I have serious doubts about Tuomas's ability (and interest) to write anything that sounds close to older albums.
Nonetheless, I'll be listening to this immediately upon release.
Yes I miss the good old Nw. Back in my days music was better. Not this cr@p that kids are listening today...
And did you know that we are living in tween times? It's the age of britches holocaust.

And yet I will take them any day of the week over "Hammer Smashed Face" or "A Skull Filled with Maggots".
It's been a very long time since I enjoyed a Nightwish album. And I'm not expecting this to change. All that said, the new single is at least not completetly abysmal.
