Bolt Thrower - To Headline Germany's Party.San Open Air

"So, we're very happy to announce that the festival we have chosen to play this summer is the Party.San Metal Open Air Festival in Bad Berka, Germany on 7-9th August. Tickets are only 39.60 Euros, including parking and camping, and the festival is capped at only 10,000 visitors, so considering this and the already killer line-up, it looks like it will sell out in advance. So, we suggest that people who want to buy tickets on the day, should check the availability before they set off, to avoid the disappointment a lot of people had at last year's sold-out Summer Breeze Festival, where they got turned away.

Too bad they don't play Wacken after all. I would love to see them there. Ah well, it's great to hear they play a festival after all.

Argh, that's one week after Wacken! I sooo wanna be there! But I wanna be at Wacken, too! And one week later is Summer Breeze!! The curse of living in a country with hundreds of awesome festivals...

Posts: 9720 Written by Cut-Throat on 17.01.2008 at 01:26 In Wacken they would have been just a random band playing at 3 p.m. on the small stage, which people would have gone to see just because they don't like As I Lay Dying playing at the same time on the main stage. Party.San in contrary has them as headliner (so far) which definitely makes it more enjoyable for both the band and the fans. I am surprised though that they are coming to Germany again after having played Summer Breeze last year. There are more than enough other extreme metal festivals in other countries with fans waiting to get to see them.
