If I were a metal genre, I would be blackened/folk metal. This genre fits my personailty because there is an upbeat side of me(the folk metal), but yet im still misanthropic and hateful(black). If you were a metal genre, what would YOU be?

I would be experimental/avant-garde/instrumental metal fusion...

I am irresponsible at times and lack structure, I am open to new ideas, rarely serious, and people think I am weird. I am very often emotionless, introverted and can come off as somewhat egotistical to the casual observer, but in reality I am constantly aware and nervous.

If I was a metal genre, I would be progressive metal because I am a very complex person and am quite erratic and quirky at times...the egotisical thing can be applied to the progressive metal genre too and to me because I have been accused of it...also, the whole being aware and nervous thing from Introspekrieg's post can be applied to me too because there is also a lot of that in the progressive metal genre...actually...pretty much everything he posted...

i would be raw black metal, i'm grim, cold, always wear black, i'm also completely antisocial and very frostbitten. i also wish for the rest of humanity to die.

i could be power-influenced heavy with a slight gothic touch, i am mostly organized(heavy), sometimes i go insane when fun is going on, or with the right amount of booze inside of me(mostly at concerts and stuff)-power, and i tend to be depressed sometimes(goth)

I guess I would be doom metal, not necessarily my favourite genre though,

I would be doom because I'm so depressing at times and romantic in every way, poetic, self-deprecating. Oh and slow, I can be slow!

I might be a subgenre of Doom Metal, probably Funeral Doom.
I'm very slow and carefully to do things. I can be both sweet and angry/depressed on the same day.
I like well though movies and complex things usually [as the well put music and lyrics] and I like some poetry as well.

And things turn out very well when I'm in the specific mood to do it [as Funeral Doom is a genre for specific ocations...]

Edit: I have also a very deep voice that can turn even lower and slow without trying to hard jejeje, that's why many think I'm older.

Gothic Metal
I have bitter and cynical look at society and humanity, love romanticism and art. I also have an heavy and low voice and a skinny frame which seems most Goth singers seem to have. I also have a bit of Folk for my love of middelages and Mythology and people say I look like an elf lol.

If I were a metal gene I wouldn't be alive but would be music to anyone's ears instead.

If i were a metal genre, I would be Power metal because most of the time im in a fantasy world :

I would be shitty US pop music so I could have lots of sex.

Edit - Oops, I just realized it's supposed to be a metal genre. Well, in that case I'd be shitty US pop metal like Trivium so I could have lots of sex with hot, soulless scene whores.

If I were a metal genre, I would be grindcore, because I am attracted to stuff that sounds like a chaotic mass of shit.

folk tinged black metal. On first appearances I'm harsh, unwelcoming and grim.. But when one takes the time to get to know me better, you can see I have flourishes of fun within.

I think heavy 'cause I'm organized (OCD, actually), with some Power influence 'cause I'm a fantasy World Of Warcraft geek, and usually I'm in a good mood.

My personality is best described by Melodic Death metal, sometimes harsh and brutal, other energetic, but also melancholic at times

I'd be Thrash metal for sure. Its fast, its in ur face, its brutal. Which is strange cos I am nothing like that. I'm a bit of a closed person, but wear my heart on my sleeve. Guess thrash suits me cos u never know when I might go off - like a filthy guitar solo.

I think I'd be Progressive Metal. This style has a lot of concept and dark albums with great subjects. Some I really get deep into them, and some may have actually change the way I think.

I guess in the respect that I love and strive for the most extreme music I can find I'd be Noise, simply because it's pretty much the final frontier where music is concerned.

As for metal genre I don't think any would fit my personality or appearance, I think industrial/cyber scene is much closer to my thoughts and ideals. I spose experimental metal would be the closest thing as I can be unpredictable and enjoy a unique way of thinking.

I don't just play dungeons and dragons, I dungeon master it!

When I'm not DMing, I play a paladin.

I constantly lament I have no money to buy a sword or a suit of full plate (much less specially fitted to me!).

In world of warcraft, I play a shaman that specializes in striking people down with lightning and a paladin.

Probably some kind of Viking Black Heavy Metal? Viking because I'm Swedish ( ), Black because Satanic views appeal to me and Heavy because I love drinking (beer), cars/bikes, leathers and spikes. It's a hard question.

you picked pretty much what i would have picked with the addition of heavy metal into it. viking black metal is what i would pick, without the heavy metal influence because i dont think the two could go together very well. and if this doesnt make sense ive been drinking and smoking waaay too much bud in the past 48 hours, blame it on that.
