Great album, love the songs,"I Stand Alone, Make Me Believe, Changes, Faceless, Straight Out Of Line, and Awake!

"Releasing the Demons" is one of my favourites - their best album imo

Damn good album.

One of the great alternative metal / hard rock releases of all time. Solo and bridge on "Re-Align" is killer.

I think this is the second album I ever bought back in 2005 when I was 13, after NOFX's "The War on Errorism" (a friend recommended that one). I thought it was so heavy at the time and became obsessed with Godsmack only to discover how much incredible metal there is out there, so I owe a lot to this band!

This is their only good album, i believe, but its far superior in quality.

To this day, I still cannot believe how this album gets a rating under 8.5 on MS. This is an absolute masterclass in alternative metal where there's essentially no bad track. A fucking mint production, stellar songwriting and pacing topped by superb fucking vocal delivery. Geez what the heck more does one need?

Some folks need to fix their ears or kill their biases. Idk maybe both.

There's literally no bad tracks but yeah here's my favourites: "I Stand Alone" - "Straight Out Of Line" - "Serenity" - "I Fucking Hate You" - "Make Me Believe"

Dude it's Godsmack their not very well liked. lol! I'm just surprised they have a 7.9 rating which was 8.0. But yea this band get's too much hate. Their not a fav anymore but I still like their old stuff.

Hating for hating was always so fucking weird to me lol. I mean, a lot of their other albums are just alright but this one man... Its mint. But hey, people will be people I'm just glad some folks do recognize when an album is good regardless of who made it.

It is really all about seeing things through different lenses I suppose. While I feel like it is a game of trends and expectations for most people.

There are dicks who will just hate an album because apparently the band is not metal enough. For all it's worth, I loved this album too. It was definitely a transition album for me, leading me to heavier stuffs, very formative for my current metal tastes

Honestly this album rips.
