I listened to this one in particular. I usually don't bother with demos unless I really like the band but for some reason I got to this one as well.

And yes, it's quite ironic how I feel the need to defend power metal here when IRL I'm usually the one begging my friends to turn off their Blind Guardians and Gamma Rays. Tells you something about how much you dudes attack it

Nah, I don't mind my friend(s), just my sister and brother who hardly listen to anything they haven't heard three years ago because 15 seconds is enough for them to decide whether the band is shit. They do not understand the concept of a grower. At least with my friends I get a chance to mock those other bands on a regular basis and therefore sharpen my wit.

I think it's safe to say that some Firewind albums can be enjoyed without the person being into power metal. The Premonition is a trad metal goodie, I actually gave it a ten because I can't get enough of it.

Now this is something that I want...... Love Firewind.
