The second half, beginning at 2:26 is more appeasing to my ears than the first half.

I'm very serious about not being serious.

I agree. Hopefully the new album won't disappoint.

Not bad...The music sounds more "agile" and flexible so to speak...Hope this isn't the best song in the album tho!

It's classic Amon Amarth... It was heard before but I like it nevertheless... Haters are gonna hate!

The composition does sound a bit different, something I'd need more than a couple sentences to explain, though the chorus is still very Amon Amarth-esque.
Catchy as hell though. Here's to hoping the album will be a bit varied and this is only the killer opener.

Typical Amon Amarth song, not bad but not special either. We'll see how the rest turns out

Sounds like a typical Amon Amarth opener, solid riffing & catchy. I like it!

I go here with Stoned as other half of the song is well crafted and nicely structured..

But, it will be too early to give it a shot about their new record.

I definitely wouldn't say that. The chorus and the solo are definitely Amon Amarth, but the opening melody and the riff really threw me for a loop.

I'm definitely looking forward to the album. I was super excited for the new Ghost album, now this looks like it'll be overshadowing that release.

I really hope not....the track is more promising than what Sultur offered but still not anything special like the two preceding Sultur...

Yeah definitely, the first half isnt terrible but its a little simplistic and repetitive. Overall its pretty decent though

That's what I thought when I listened to the sample from Surtur, I forgot what song. But when I got the album, was I angry.

A groundbreaking work or art unlike anything this world has ever seen!!
Jk... this is exactly what I expected, they sound like Amon Amarth as usual.

I'm not sure why everyone is complaining... Having listened to the song once, I don't feel it's "classic" AA, except for the chorus perhaps. It sounds much more aggressive than the usual AA (ie. Surtur Rising).

This sounds like it will be their best since Versus the World.
