As I Lay Dying - Lambesis Posts Bail, Released From Custody
ABC10 and other sources are reporting that Tim Lambesis, the lead singer of metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying, who is accused of trying to arrange the murder of his estranged wife, posted bail and is out of jail. He left the Vista Detention Facility yesterday, according to authorities. Bail for the As I Lay Dying frontman was lowered from $3 million to $2 million a few weeks ago.
Tim Lambesis has been in jail after being arrested on May 7th. Lambesis eventually plead not guilty to one count of solicitation of murder and the next step is another readiness conference scheduled for Lambesis's case on June 26th.
Lambesis' defense attorney, Tom Warwick blamed Tim' steroid use and gym culture for the alleged murder-for-hire plot. He also revealed that Lambesis was going through steroid withdrawal while in custody.
