Wow, now that's some cheesy lyrics. One of the reasons I found metal so attractive was that it didn't always sing about relationships/breakups, that sort of lyrically uninspired bullsh*t. There was a real depth to lyrics in metal. Now suddenly it's "metal" to constantly sing about your "shattered soul" as long as you scream it really loud with distorted guitars in the background.
