Scorpion Child - Premiere New Video
Texas-based hard rockers Scorpion Child just premiered their new video, for the song "Kings Highway", the opener of their debut album Scorpion Child, released via Nuclear Blast Records in June 2013.
The "Kings Highway" video was directed by award-winning stop-motion animator Jess Cope (who already worked with Steven Wilson, Storm Corrosion and Devin Townsend) of Owlhouse Studios, whose talents have been seen in the short film The Astronomer's Sun, the British children's television series Postman Pat and Tim Burton's feature film, Frankenweenie.
The band's frontman Aryn Jonathan Black said about this: "Jess Cope's work for our new 'Kings Highway' video is masterful! We are enamored by her artistic eye and ability to create a fantasy trip with an ethereal visual that's captivating and timeless."

Lol the silhouette guy looks like me. Great vid, actually obliterated the music behind it for me... so many nice points of memory... '95 Carcass, '99 Shihad, '02 QotSA as well as their latest vids, Interstate '76 with the car and Starcraft with the cig. Great Cope-ing
