Shape Of Despair - Share Third Track From New Album
Here it is, the third song from Shape Of Despair's upcoming album Monotony Fields. Originally, "The Distant Dream Of Life" was intended to serve as an intro to the album. You can stream it now via Terrorizer. This is also the shortest track on the record which you can grab on June 15th worldwide, and June 16th in North America through Season Of Mist.
The funeral doom metal band said of the song: "Even though the start quite resembles something that our mates from Rapture could have put out, we felt it necessary to end this in a proper Shape Of Despair way and slowed the pace down, while injecting a dose of hopelessness. To bring out a slightly different side of Monotony Fields, we present to you the shortest and possibly catchiest track of our new album."
The other two songs released so far from Monotony Fields are the title track and "Descending Inner Night".
