Fear Factory - First Album Trailer Released


Fear Factory begin revealing a little bit about the music on Genexus, their new album. The industrial metallers will release their 9th studio album and Nuclear Blast Entertainment debut, on August 7th worldwide. Until then, the band is whetting the appetite of eager fans by releasing the first trailer for the album. Mechanize was a breath of fresh air for this band. This just sounds more of the same with the Extreme sound. I dont mind it but when every band nowadays is doing the same it can get repetitive. Much prefer the sound that they had on 'Archetype'

I agree with you on Archetype. Mechanize had a couple of okay tracks for me. Same with Industrialist. Transgression was a let down after Archetype.

I agree with you on Archetype. Mechanize had a couple of okay tracks for me. Same with Industrialist. Transgression was a let down after Archetype.

He he really a matter of taste ! Transgression was such a letdown for me that it ended in the trashcan ! Archetype was a good surprise, seeing FF back strong and solid ! Mechanize sounded eve, better with Dino being back as well. The Industrialist sounds good but is way too short for standard FF albums.

Now this snippet is really too short but I hope this album will be good. Will see them live in July, so I get a chance to listen to more new tracks
