It got a bit better after I made that comment to be honest though now Akercocke got kicked off it looks less good again. 100% going though as it's a social thing as half of Brighton go.

Do you know why that happened? I've heard quite a few theories but they all seem dumb to me for some reason.

I haven't heard anything concrete, and probably what you have, that Damnation announced them for their fest and Bloodstock didn't like it because they thought it was an exclusive thing for them. I guess we'll never know if they actually did have exclusive rights to them, so hard to know who's in the wrong. I suppose I'll just catch them in London later this year.
