Uaschitschun is a word Native Americans (Indians) used for white men. The spoken word at the end of the track is a prophecy by the Cree (Indian) tribe.

Their first album with a great deal of AMAZING songs. I don't see it necessary to skip or replace anything here, just listening from start to finish, no regrets EVER. It's kinda silly to pick some favorites from this album, because there's plenty of them, but if I am to do so, those would be: "Uaschitschun", "Conquistadores", "Mutiny" and "Calico Jack".

Some say this is bands best well hard to judge, but I like it decent a bit softer riff as Grave Digger has, but Rolfs voice is awesome, and great classic HM.

Found this album for cheap last year. My metalhead friend had recommended this to me years ago, but I thought the pirate theme sounded stupid. Then I put in my car's CD player, pushed "play" button and OMGTHISISAWESOMEEEE!!!!1 Must've been the best car trip ever.

Great speed metal record. Calico Jack is pretty much a perfect song, those riffs and the vocals are out of this world! Port Royal, Uaschitschun and Conquistadores are also stellar songs. I also find the instrumental Final Gates to be a great piece of music.

Conquistadores is in my Top10 RW setlist!

In total one of the best RW records. The end of the 80s were a strong period only to be matched with a shitload of masterpieces in the 90s!

Faves: Title, Raging Fire, ItA, Uaschitschun, Conquestadores, BtKC and Calico Jack

Running Wild is one of those bands I always knew about but never bothered checking, there's just too much music out there. a mistake waiting so long.
this is amazing stuff, so many good riffs and catchy hooks and choruses. everything you might expect from a top notch 80's speed/heavy/power blend. favorite tracks would be Port Royal, Final Gates and Conquistadores.
