Wintersun - To Premiere New Song During N. American Tour
Wintersun are set to begin their North American Forest Tour on September 14th and they have announced some very exciting news for their fans. The band is going to present a brand new song but they won't say from which future album it is taken and also drummer Heikki Saari will join them for this tour. Most bands would go on stage, play a few songs, then say: "oh, hey guys, since you're all here and we are working on a new album, we thought we'd play a little preview tonight, since we're a normal band and all." But Wintersun has to make a 10-minute-long, self-congratulatory video announcing it in advance so the whole world knows.

Ahah. Does he need to tell his "fans" that he'll play new songs on tour to get them buying tickets? Meh. Many bands did try new stuff live before him, and none did feel the need to promote it beforehand (as indeed it feels better as a surprise treat)...
