Rotting Christ - Release 'The Raven' Lyric Video
Greek extreme metal icons Rotting Christ have premiered a new lyric video for the song "The Raven." It's the third track that has been made available after "Fire God And Fear" and "Heaven And Hell And Fire". The song comes from the band's forthcoming new studio album, The Heretics, which will be released through Season Of Mist on February 15th.
The band commented: "We can proudly present to you the third song taken from our upcoming album The Heretics. 'The Raven' represents the epilogue of the album, and as we always used to do, our most atmospheric and melodic creation in every album. A tribute to one of the most literary critic writers, Edgar Alan Poe and more specifically to his poem 'The Raven' that, together with all the rest of the big heretics during the history of time, made us create our last opus. Enjoy the majestic trip of 'The Raven' and see you soon on our heretical path."

I'm digging this song a lot- completely stoked about this album. But I feel like Sakis's harsh vocals sound a little tired (in this song at least).

Not my favourite, I enjoy the first and second songs better and hope the rest of the album sounds as strong as these songs. Not a bad one for sure but he cannot top the previously heard titles.

Now that's more like it, great song! Can hardly go wrong with one of the greatest poems ever written, it gives me goosebumps every time I read it though I've known it by heart for years...
