I've been coming a lot of classic-sounding death metal records in the past few weeks (Necrot, Desolator, Skeletal Remains), this is probably the most enjoyable of the bunch. Owes a lot to Swedish DM but does have some more modern inclinations, particularly due to the cleaner production job it has than some competitors

I'm not really sure why but Carnation don't get a lot attention. Perhaps it's because there are too many bands who sound like Entombed or perhaps it's because they're from Belgium (no offence intended). Whatever it is, they have a fan in me. CHAPEL OF ABHORRENCE was a killer debut IMO and this isn't too far behind in terms of killer tunes and memorable riffs. Great live band as well.

Good album but cliche´d. Maybe bcos it is bit old school type. But really enjoyable album.

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘

I am a huge fan of Chapel Of Abhorrence and this is a worthy follow up.
