This is so... bad. WTF did They do with Cyriis' vocals?

Yeah, this is shaping up to be one of the most embarrassing albums in the history of metal just as I predicted. The music is nothing more average but the vocals are on another level of manure. If the whole thing actually does get released, I might review it just for the lulz.

When I was a kid I had Agent Steel's Unstoppable Force on repeat. This is such a disappointment. John Cyriis' vocals were always an acquired taste but it's clear from this that he is no longer up to it - and the producer has tried to synthesize the hell out of the recording to mask this obvious fact. Not sure how this got beyond the cutting room floor tbh.

No, but he was not so bloody awful either. I sing a lot better than him when I am in the shower. Mind you, I am probably the worst singer in the whole Balkan region.

from 2:50 there's also a strange noise in the left channel, just like the mix engineer forgot to mute/gate some static noise in the guitar amp

Well, I like his vocals on the old albums as they fit well in speed metal. I remember also people were very excited in 2011 when James Rivera and Rick Mythiasin were with the band, but it's hard to say which would be better as I haven't heard any Cyriis record since 80s.

The song reminds me of "Beyond Illusions" by Depressive Age. It has this 90's thrash vibe.
But the effect on the vocals is quite... hmm, I don't know how to put it... it's shit.
