First track was ok (-ish)...but the second made me feel lucky I did not preorder it. They both sound like 2 long intros. Hope the rest of the album is better.

Agree, sounds as an intro to me, so far nothing special, so i dont know. Daniel should know night is 2 months long, next morning will Come after 2 months hehe.

Best song is Ominous One. Most metal, most heavyset song, In Gloom has sorta autumn rain touch, spirit.

Rest of album, how to put it. Listen it whole, listen it few times, you might like it. Hard to get in into it, but well its not so bad as I thought, firts 2 songs could be better , then it goes well. Hard to judge, nostalgic feelings circulates about Daniel, but give it a try, maybe later it will be best what you have listen a while, who knows.

The album is fine, give it time and it will reward you. There is a big David Bowie vibe, which is really cool too. And "The End Of This World" rips.

I know, but I did listen it whit Daniel at private party whit swedish craft beers

I rarely rate on first listen but I enjoyed this quite a bit, surprisingly good.
I'm impressed.

I feel the same!
After the first single (At The Destination) I thought this would be another letdown (as Illwill was), but I think this is a deep and dark novel in music. Engaging!

Not overly impressed. the thing i liked about it was that is has a calm feel throughout. easy to listen to while doing office work. but I didn't find anything memorable apart from some lyrics.

Ominous One, Ominous Too and the first half of Cosmic Sailor were pretty good. The End of this World could be a good song to sleep to

Pretty uninspiring disc. I didn't expect much since its predecessor was quite lame too, but after a decade, I can say this definitely was not something worth waiting for.

After that first single, I wasn't so sure I'd like it. But it's grown on me. I love LoT.

I really like the album (8.5/10 to be precise). It could be just one track like Winter's Gate of Insomnium, as they have both kind of a redemption type story line.
The melancholy and the hopelessness drowns me into my darkest hours and the lyrics are in my mind throughout the day. Give the album some time and it will grow eventually.

I am not a big fan of their previous records, but this one is quite good. Nice atmosphere.

This has a much more doomy sound to it than his previous stuff, but still has that grim, and gloomy atmosphere, it's good, but far from his classic early work. Daniel is still showing us that his still an excellent songwriter, and a great lyricist, unfortunately his vocal performance has let him down a wee bit here.

I completely disagree with rating of 7.5 for this album...
It might be that standards and expectations are much higher today than few years or few decades ago...
Album is as good as it could be. I registered here just to say that.
It's obvious that most of you have no experience in space traveling and so you can't relate...

I loved this album, listening to the band for the first time and love the melancholic atmosphere that it creates. Some of the tunes are really good.

I never liked their old stuff all that much but this is great. I love the atmosphere in that album, really catching me. Production is perfect as well.
