Pandrador - Tracking Sophomore Record

Polish death metal machine Pandrador is hard at work on their second full length instalment, the successor to 2020's Ov Rituals, Ov Ancestors, Ov Destiny. The four-piece is currently located in studio, tracking down new tunes. More to follow.

The band commented: ''Drums for upcoming second album are done. Huge thanks for solid work of Filip Hałucha of Heinrich House Studio and Mikołaj Kiciak of Santa Studio. They did their best as producers, sound engineers and good advisers. It was a pleasure to work with them to search the drum tone which will fit the arrangements we've prepared. Also, huge thanks to Daray Drummer for lending us his drum kit! It sounded magnificent! More info coming soon.''

Updates :

Vocal parts for upcoming album have been recorded and added to the rest of the instruments.
It was 3 full recording days, from morning to late evening, filled with searching for the most emotional takes that we could achieve. This time we didn’t care about the precision or any kind of technical perfection. It was all about our emotions, personal sorrow and thoughts we experienced for the last 2 years. And no doubt that only Filip Hałucha could push it together with us to the limits. His job as a sound engineer and producer (and also, which is crucial, a close friend of ours) was to catch the performance at its peak and, as usual, we’re delightet about how well the session turned out. "Seidr" (our upcoming album) will surely deliver not only Death or Black Metal growls, but also a big amount of Scandinavian chants and mantras.
Our preparation for that session was quite a edifying process for us. Not only because we searched for the words describing the topic we've took up, but also we've reached out for old English, Anglo-Saxon and Scandinavian poems to get inspired by their atmosphere, sublimity and - which is the most important for the whole album - the language used there. We've achieved something, which definitely met our expectations when it comes to tone, feeling and expected "nonobviousness" of vocal lines,
The story told on the album also pushed us to invite a female vocalist, so, as you can see - Lasaira from Sacrimonia will enrich one of the songs with her voice. It was a pleasure to work with her. She’s expressive and more than convincing in her role as Hel on the album.
Now we’ll give ourselves a short break, just to get some defusion and after it - add some minor arrangements to the songs.
