5 years after their last studio record Hearts Of No Light, Switzerland's Schammasch now announce and detail the follow-up. Entitled The Maldoror Chants: Old Ocean, it will hit the streets October 25 through Prosthetic Records. Engineered, mixed and mastered by Markus Stock and C.S.R at Klangschmiede Studio.

Schammasch's latest release is the second in an ongoing series of works that draws from Les Chants de Maldoror - one of the 19th century’s most fascinating literary works which would later become part of the foundation of the surrealist movement, an opus rich in creativity, leaving much to discover.
