Long hair becomes tired and develops tangles and split ends. That's equally bad. You need to give your hair a vacation sometimes.

Thanks... I knew my hair beats Mr Doc's afro big time... I don't make my hair longer... it does it itself... in fact I thought of getting a crew cut but not in so near future...

Our haircuts aren't in the same group so there's hardly a point of comparison there
My hair isn't afro all the time, depends on the day. This isn't afro (Please ignore the "I wanna rape you"-face)



And sometimes it gets afro like the picture with Valentin B in my profile I can't decide how it will turn out either. XD

Like I said: I can't keep it that way. It's alive i tell ya!. Sometimes it gets extremely curly, sometimes it gets all afro sotimes something in between. So I stopped using any kind of products besides what I use to take a shower, it doesn't matter anyway because I don't know how it will turn out.

My profile picture rulz twice as much as the pic above because there's another raw motherfucker in that picture so... Also... my face in that picture is awful. I would like to punch that dude because of that smile.

but lol, you actually reminded me of a creepy coursemate of mine. he doesn't just say "hi" to you in mornings, he smiles at you and then you just can't help but think that he's gonna rape you in five minutes.

Indeed... this is just curls... if you know Ghru-Akal then his hair resembles a supernova a lot more than yours...
In fact, I heard that there are products that make your hair straight. I haven't got curly hair myself... it just grows more upwards than downwards and gets wavy when long.

Don't worry about the photo... yes, you do look rather bad in it but you're not alone. I'm also one of those people who very often looks worse on photos than in real life. Then again, I know people (some girls) who look hot on photos but in real life they're... oh... you get the idea...

Well, my hair also grows upwards. In fact... that's the main reason to why "I could never grow my hair long" but Iwa nted it so badly since I was 13-14 that I asked my hairdresser what I could do and then she started to take off some volume from time to time so my hair would "fall" eventually. I still got the "afro influence" because my hair is stubborn but it would have been a 100% afro otherwise My hairdresser still does that. I cut my hair every 2 months to cut the tips of my hair and to take off some volume.

edit: yeah... I tend to look like a psicopath when I'm happy!

Anyhow, my suggestion perhaps would be to leave your hair be and just let it grow so that eventually you'll be able to tie it. This way you'll remove the hair from your eyes and can leave your face free plus tied back hair looks also neat and official. I used to tie my hair back at work because it suits a lot more with the white shirt, tie and suit than open hair would. In fact, I used to tie my hair back almost always which means that there was almost no difference between having short hair or having tied-back hair anyway... The trouble tho, is when your hair is not short enough any more to leave your face free but yet not long enough to be tied...

My hair is long enough by now. I just don't like to have it tied that much. It's fine for a moment of formality but otherwise I like my hair as it is.
