Hello from me also

I'm Jan, 37 years old and from Denmark. I have listened to metal since the mid 80ties.

My interests are pretty old school - am not much into the more extreme areas of planet metal - but I do enjoy some melodic BM & DM.

Among my fave bands I count Grand Magus, Candlemass, Therion, Trail of Tears, Mortal Sin, Helstar, Heaven & Hell, Anthrax, AC/DC, Battleroar.

I have lurked here for a good while, but never gotten around to participating.

I've been listening to metal for about three years now, and I'd say I'm mostly a progressive/power/prog-death (and, inexplicably, doom) fan. My favourite metal bands include Blind Guardian, Helloween, Dream Theater, Judas Priest, Sabbath, Zep, Iced Earth, Shadow Gallery, Cynic, Opeth, Pentagram and Saint Vitus. I've been reading quite a lot of the articles, but this is my first time posting. Looking forward to being a member here!
