Hey guys, do you think teh fact that Iron Maiden came made like a difference orshall we say... was a key factor to get all those concerts and bands here in Colombia this year?

Also: IDEAM said in three weeks there will be summer, LOL.

1. well as for the first item of discussion i really think IM and Dream Theater had a lot to do with more and more bands being brought and mostly not chirri ones, but not only that Colombia specially Bogota is clearly become a good investment for concerts not only metal good proof Kilie Minogue (which i hate btw) and others alike that are capable of filling up simoncho or other places so yeah i think it created a sort of concert wave that i hope will not stop in a while.

1. i wouldn't give that much credit to maiden, it's been a long way, a very slow process, i don't know if they were some of the first but surely it was already a long time ago but bands like helloween and angra started paving that way, besides, i hate maiden

Well it depends from where they where u see there are many different ways of talking in Colombia (and by different I MEAN DIFFERENT) the most distinctive IMO are people from the Coast, Paisas ( Medellin and soroundings), Rolos ( Bogota and soroundings (ME )), Vallunos (Cali and sorroundings) and Santandereanos (from de Santanderes). You might wanna look at a Colombian map to understand what im talking about. And yeah if they were from Barranquilla (coast) they doo have a really funny way of talking sometimes i cant understand them in fact a lot of times i dont understand a word they say heeheh . As for the girls ... hmm it all depends on taste but due to my Gf being born in B/quilla ill have to agree only because of that hahahah

Bacano means something like "cool", that's a word many people use here.

The most beautiful women in Colombia are from Medellín, TBH.
And you do know some expressions, hehe. But it's nice to see we had a good representation thanks to this friendly girls
