Have you ever watched the movie Casino? Well (spoilers), Seeds by Domkraft is like that final scene where the guy who played Billy Bats in Goodfellas takes a baseball bat and just goes off on Joe Pesci. Swap Frank Vincent out for Domkraft and imagine the word RIFF in huge letters on the bat. Now substitute your head in for Joe Pesci. That's this album.

Guess I'm in the minority here, it was really boring to me.
"Perpetuator" was nice though I must admit.

Perpetuator is definitely the highlight here, what a powerhouse of a track, but I think this overall might be the best stoner metal of this year so far

Not a fan of stoner metal but this is really good stuff. One of my favourite albums from 2021.

Kind of like how the dinosaur head kind of looks likes one of the dinosaurs from Primal Rage.

This is excellent. I am anyways a huge fan of stoner doom so this is right up my alley. Love how upbeat the stoner is in this album.

It's some pretty solid stoner/sludge with a psychedelic touch, and I like the trippy cover-art. I like it but it doesn't impress me as much as Sonic Moons.

Given both this and Sonic Moons a few listens in close proximity to one another now - I do find myself preferring Seeds, mainly due to the tracks Perpetuator, Into Orbit and Audiodome. The new record does have passages similar to the loose psychedelic expanses of Audiodome, but I'm not sure it necessary has a song that channels the almost droning psychedelia of Perpetuator or the Loviatar-esque vibe of Into Orbit, instead focusing a bit more on the more straightforward stoner stuff. New one is still very good for sure, just slightly less range and doesn't have the same calibre of standout song.

"Perpetuator", and "Into Orbit" are great songs but "Audiodome" is the main stand out track for me here, however, it's "Slowburner", "Downpour" and "Whispers" that are the three stand-outs for me on Sonic Moons. Both are very good albums, but both seem to just slightly be lacking in consistency with some songs being quite a bit stronger than others. It's a close call between the two albums I'll admit, but Sonic Moons just edges it for me. I might give Seeds a few more listens though, I have the feeling it will grow on me in time.
