How exactly is Novembre pronounced? Same as November in English or should it be the same way as it is said in Italian? Either way - what's the proper pronunciation?

Neb- I made a mistake in explaining the Italian pronunciation of Iron Maiden: they say "Mai" as you would say "never" in Italian. So the "a" is an open vowel, not "ei".

Exhumed- I think Bad English gave you the correct pronunciation: instead of saying the "e" before the "r" (November) say it after. Or try neb's suggestion

Ensiferum is a hard one for me, i heard Petri Lindroos say it in an interview, but whenever i try to copy how he said it, i choke on my tongue

it would be realy cool if on a bands profile right beside the name, it had a button you can click for a proper pernounceation. (damn that is spelt horribly)

I have 2 questions:
Be'lakor
Behemoth
How to pronounce them?

I heard Behemoth in a movie but I can't spell it! I listened to that part a million times but still I can't!

Behemoth is pronounced:

Buh-hee-muth

Be'lakor, I think it's pronounced beh-lah-core. Pretty much how you see it. May be beh-lake-core. I don't think it was made clear...

I've also heard it said in a couple of other ways: Bay-uh-moth and Bee-uh-moth. I'm not sure, but I think it may be a "tomayto/tomarto" situation.

and about Endstille [Germany] ..

end-style?
end-steel?

I just pronounce it "End-still".
=\

To be a bit picky, it's more like: "End SCHtill", not like the english word "still". Which leads me to my question, does the country of the band play a role in the pronounciation then? For example (because that doesn't seem quite clear anyways):

The English prog band "Camel". Any English chap would call the band "Camel", but in Germany, people might say "Ka-Mehl" because camel is ALSO a german word. Same with the USBM band Leviathan, the Germans say "Le-vi-A-tan". To me, it would make more sense to speak the band name out properly based on the band's origins. Make sense?

Then again, the french pronounce Hell Militia "eL Militia", lol

You also have to pronounce the trailing 'e' in German. Like, maybe, "End-schteel-e".

It's not really an "ee". I think the best way to show how to pronounce it is:

"End-shtill-a",

It'd be so when there was an R in the end but since it's just Endstille then it should be [endʃtille]... yup, IPA is the best thing...

It's hell of hard to explain pronunciation to English speakers sometimes, it's then that the IPA comes to aid... German writing is in fact quite an easy one, not like English writing...
