From the moment I saw Aurora Borealis' cover for their newest album 'Relinquish' I had to own it, and I do.

Awesome list dude I have alot of favorites on there. That secret on Det Som... is pretty damn awesome I would have never seen that by myself. And in your comment you mentioned something by the mountains in the Thousand Lakes album...I can't seem to find it unless it's the dot on the mountain that almost looks like an eye to me, but I'm probably totally off

Nothing beats this cover! Wintersuns self-titled album cover is epic, beautiful and full of emotions. I especially love the sun, the wintersun.

I also love my avatar, it is Northers "Mirror of Madness". Plain, simple, beautiful colors and a coldness you can feel. Pieces of a crushed mirror in a cold landscape.

Agreed. That's the best Deth cover, better than RiP in my opinion. And since your avatar is Priest, who can forget the cover of Metal Works?


This was the best of released in '93, and commemorates 20 years of Priest (strangely, however, it doesn't have any songs from Rocka Rolla or Sad Wings....).

I particularly love the addition of the symbols of Priest's dominance throughout the years, from the metal angel (Painkiller) fighting the 'Screaming...' Eagle to the Metallian and the Stained Class head in the background. Great stuff

i really like mmm symphony x - the oddysey and also theatre of tragedy - theatre of tragedy althou it isnt nothing really different nor weird i like it in its simplicity
i know i like more but gotta think about it

Symphony X's The Odessy may not be THE best album cover, but IMO it is up there.

Moonspell's newest is awsome. so as the one for 'In Absentia' but one of my fav is this

I just bought to a friend for his birthday Emperor's In the nightside eclipse then I just realize that the cover is damn pretty

Such detail and creativity,definitley my favorite Sepultura album and one of the greatest covers.
