Some Scandinavian here who can tell us how the album title would be pronounced with all those "ø"s?

Dane here. Since "ø" is the pride and joy of our nation, due to its impossible pronunciation and confusing look (along with its siblings "æ" and "å"), I must step in. If you want to pronounce the titles for yourself, "ø" is a very unique sound, but it is quite similar to the vowel sound in the French "bleu". It sounds absolutely hilarious, I've been laughing all morning. This is some Spinal Tap level shit. For starters, "Øf" means "oink" like a pig. First timer here for machine head. Liked the songs, didn't go crazy over it. Standard melodic metal with cringey vocals and lyrics.

I've grown to really like and appreciate this album after disliking it initially. It has a lot of catchy moments that stick in my head. It's full of great riffs, chugs, guitar solos, and drumming. As always I very much enjoy their guitar tone/tuning. Songs like Unhallowed, Become The Firestorm, My Hands Are Empty, Kill They Enemies, and Arrows In Words From The Sky have all become some of my favorite Machine Head songs. The combo of groovy riffage and catchy/melodic writing just works for me.

This might be one of the greatest comebacks in music history. After putting forth the slop pile that was Catharsis, Machine Head proved they still had gas in the tank. OKAC is a great album, opening Slaughter the Martyr and closed out by Arrows in Words from the Sky, both of which are easily the best songs on the album. I love how well written both of them are. OKAC is a far cry from its predecessor.
