Don't worry Elio,... I even more extreme [crazy?] and say that every DT album is an epic fail
The weird thing is that I actually can see myself buying Porcupine Tree and Riverside albums... great bands, the only progressive stuff I can take.

I just finished listening to the full discography, and I have enjoyed it from start to finish. I have to conclude that Riverside are one of the best prog bands nowadays, with their own unique sound and style. One could go as far as saying that they are one of a kind. Also, having seen them live just a few ago, I can say that they are amazing live: playing and signing everything accurately. I was truly amazed with Mariusz Duda's vocal performance: it was just identical to the recorded.
But I think Riverside deserve bigger crowds and venues and better sound. I don't know in what kind of places they usually play, but in Prague, it was just a small night club, with maybe around 300 people. The performance was great, but the sound could be much cleaner if that is possible: I am not an experienced concert-goer, but so far I haven't been to a show, where I would be satisfied with the sound. I have to admit though that Riverside had one of the best sounds.

You said that in 2009 and you bought your first PT album in 2011, I'd say not bad

I'm pretty bad at remembering those kind of things so yeah, it's not bad. I will probably hunt Deadwing and In Absentia soon since I saw them for only 9 euro each on the internet.

Yeah, In Absentia is a must have and Deadwing is kind of a twin in a way. They come together
