a canadian noob! hello broken goddess

humm...btw, whats going on in qubec with the thing that the PM said about quebec being a nation within a nation...?

our econ class is going nuts over whatever the PM said, and we are arguing about what qubec is doing about it now a days...

@Soliloquy: I'm thinking that with comments like that, the PM is thinking in a more seperatist mindset and many Canadians couldn't care less these days if Quebec seperates from the rest of Canada. The PM really shouldn't make comments like that though. Quebec is a nation within a nation to me...whenever I go into Quebec, I don't feel like I'm in Canada...

the problem goes a whole lot deeper. for example, if quebec does ditch canada, then we would be hurt economically simply becuase quebec is one of the profiting provinces. apart from quebec, its ontario, and slightly british colombia that are well off economically. the rest arent even developed properly.

on top of that, if quebec does get its freedom, then i'm sure alberta would want in on that and want to be a free country as well. why them? becuase during provincial elections, the runner up(who only lost by a few votes) is an extream seperatist. and due to the central provinces(ontario, and quebec) alberta is doing horrible simply coz all the money is going into those two provinces so they can be developed even better. and therefore, all the people from alberta are ditching alberta for either america, or ontario/quebec for better jobs.

and our exports/immports would really be fucked coz quebec is our major source of lumber/paper/pulp and stuff. and wood is one of our major exports

Yeah, a lot of what you mentioned is why my family moved from Nova Scotia to Ontario in the first place. My dad lost his job and tried managing a home business, but the government there was always screwing him with certain home business issues that they had in the Maritimes, so we moved to Ontario and it was a lot more successful.

Yeah well having a runner up does not mean very much. If Alberta was that amadent about separation, more people would of voted for the Western Bloc party at the last elections (actually, I believe the marxist-leninist party had more votes then they did, which is not a very good thing).

I find it silly that we talk about Québec's status as a ''nation''. Oh! All right then! Now that somebody from ALBERTA told me that we are a nation! Thanks Alberta! We didn't know!

What next? The Conservatives are going to tell us that the Sun rises from the East?
This is petty politics and means absolutely nothing.

I don't mind though : Québécers don't care about this stupidity and the rest of Canada is either pissed off or doesn't care. So i'm good with that heh.

Im going to see Moonsorrow sometime in January, and i might be seeing Panzerchrist in December, and probally will see Belphegor and UNleashed in March if they do end up comming, lots of concerts comming up and good ones too.

I doubt Belphegor will be an all ages show (I noticed your info said you were 15), check most of the tour stops and its all clubs and stuff, otherwise I wouldve road-tripped my ass from calgary down to seattle. lol....Im probably one of the biggest Belphegor fans in this country.

Yea i am i live in GTA to be more specific Scarborough, but you might not know where that is, so yea, but i live anout 45 min drive away from Downtown Toronto so when all the shows come to town i always have a chance to check em out, but i hate the age restriction at times its fine but other times it really pisses me off.

Yeah I know Ontario pretty well, I used to live there. And the Belphegor show says its at the opera house.....which sounds like it might be an all ages show.

yeah, the opera house is pretty cool. like, they actually check your ID, and if you can drink, they leave you be. but if you cant, you get a big black 'X' on your arm. i think each and every venue should adopt that policy. i missed to many shows coz i was just couple of fucking months away from turning 18(or some shows, 19)

Yeah thats true, the job market is so desperate out here, like tim hortons was paying people like 14 bucks an hour. Tony Romas was paying dish washers like 17. Its getting ridiculous.

Pretty much, Im not gonna garuntee anything, if youve got a half decent resume you can get paid big time for high school kid type jobs, I was getting paid 12 bucks an hour as a dishwasher at red lobster until they fired me.
