It's that time of the year ? the annual Metal Storm Awards are upon us.
In order to lead-in to the 2014 award, we thought we'd first look back and present you the option to help determine the best of the first 10 years. We've taken the winners you the readers picked and decided to pit them each against one another to determine the genre winners for the past decade.

I really like this. As a newer Metalstorm user, I usually jump from award-year to award-year trying to find good albums in the genres I like anyway. Now I get to spend my weekend listening to only the top albums and picking the best!

Bands with multiple nominations (in the same category) probably won't win 'cause their votes will be split 2-5 ways. Unless all the vote-for-the-name-only folks can decide on which one to pick.
