Now we have to cheer for Germany and the great Joachim ''boogie eater'' Löw... -__- oh boy

Yup, Brazil somehow deserved this win, but i was also at the painfully obvious mistakes the Dutch did, like in the very last seconds of the match they had the chance to make it 3-1 and end it all but even Huntelaar which entered after 60 minutes didn't seem to care. also, FAILipe Melo the dude totally deserved a red card.

anyway, i never liked Brazil's football team for some reason except of course for the marvelous goals scored by the previous generation(with Dida, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Adriano, Juninho etc), i'm confident that if Brazil 2002 would have played against Holland 2010 the Dutch would have gotten their asses kicked all the way back to Amsterdam, imo that was one of the best teams to ever play the game, but the team i saw today was vastly inferior to a determined Holland.

also, WTF was with the Brazilians, most of them except Kaka and Lucio barely seemed to care about the game in the second half but Dunga and Robinho would constantly jump up and down like some goddamned monkeys whenever the ref took a decision contrary to what they wanted. fucking whiners.

And in the Dutch 1st goal... I blame Julio Cesar, he could have taken that ball no matter what, or punch it, or whatever... major fail.

Holland is practically in the finals, maybe is finally their time to win.

What an awkward day. Woke up with a hangover from hell. Had to drive back to a decent television set, normally a 45-minute drive. We decided to go early, because of potential traffic jams. Got stuck in traffic for THREE FUCKING HOURS. The heat, the hangover, the absence of drinks, the endless endless cars and the beginning of the match coming closer and closer... graaaaargh.

Eventually heard the first 20 minutes on the radio, what a deception. Finally made it to a tv-set, watched the rest of the game in total surprise. 93 minutes of awkward mistakes, missed chances, surprising goals, hard tackles and a truckload of disbelief. Not exactly a good match and we had a lot of luck, but we made it.

FUCK YEAH!

Holy shit, that was a fucking awesome match. took forever to finish but it was well worth it. loved Suarez's sacrifice, unfortunately for Ghana they couldn't make the penalty in the last second. anyway it was an absolutely dramatic game, i think the last game i watched that was THIS tense was the final back in 2006.

anyway superb game, congrats to both teams, they played valiantly to the very end, only Uruguay went through because of (i presume) a better mental constitution and a stunning goalkeeper.

Gezz... but then again... Uruguay goes cripled against Holland, even with full force was already impossible...

I'm gonna hope for us to at least not be humiliated. But I'm proud for this epic.

Can't help for feeling sorry for Gyan thou... =/... It's part of the drama...

Kinda... it's a matter of ''born in the frontier'' thing So I consider myself both Brazilian and Uruguayan.

And now that Brazil is out Im more Uruguayan than ever lol... I was so close of being doubly sad today... -_-
