Basically on a loop for the past few days, boy this is one helluva album. Sad that the ending is not a bang as it could've been. Best songs are The Nature Of The Ground and Cold Threat.

So far, for me, this is one of the biggest pops of 2017. From nowhere, this has surprised me by bringing tremendously new elements of melodeath. The execution is top notch.

Really well done Tectonic thrash with tons of melodies and soloing. Nice to see the old school bands doing really really outstanding in thrash this year.

Omg, this is an absolute monster.

I think this is even more technical and brutal than the last one

Rude - Remnants
It will be near impossible for an osdm to top this in 2017.

Fuoco Fatuo - Backwater
Best described by what the label itself says about this: "Impenetrable black magma". Fitting indeed. Insanely thick sounding and heavy blackened doom mix.
