Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are all the same religion, as they all have one land in common, and all share the same god.

They are not the same. If they were the same, how come they are different? Wouldn't we have just one name for them?

If they're the same, how come the Quarn and the Holy Bible have conflicting statements?

Interesting question. I would like to know as well. For me, I became a Christian after years of listening to Metal.

yes, we belief in a sort heaven/hell, good people get a good afterlife while bad people will get a bad afterlife.

you hit the nail right there, it's not important for us and don't make such fuss about it. so far most us belief we came from the apes tough.

Alright, then I belive I've got an answer to my questions, thank you for explaining. It's nice to get an insite in a religion you don't come across everyday.

@Dane Train: Excuse me for butting in the conversation, but I think it's exactly what he meant. Even though these three religions have many things in common, they ARE different relgions. He was reacting that so was about hinduism/buddism/jainism, why they were described as one. That's why he compared the abrahamic religions with these once, as the also share some common treats but still are different religions.

Why K7 decided to have these togheter, i belive it's beacuse they are all eastern religions and it was no space to divide them. Why I don't get is why shinto is among these as it is are far from the other religions, both geographicly and in belief system. IMO, I think it belongs in the category "other".

Interesting question. I would like to know as well. For me, I became a Christian after years of listening to Metal.

I am also interested in the age group as well.

Not to offend anyone, but there are some kids out there that become what ever is "cool" today, for example, last week they were punk, this week Goth, and next maybe hip-hop, you know, I think some people treat believes/religion views in the same manner.

i was commenting on the poll being skewed here or there. i mean, the poll has hinduism, janaism, and bhuddism all in one sect. at the same time, it has 'orthadox' 'catholics' and protestants as seperate. either list em all as christianity; or if you wanna shove everything together, then might as well just make 3 sections. the 3 sections would be 'pagan' 'atheist' and 'Monotheism'.

Ok, I see what you are getting at. I agree with you there. Yeah, there should be just one that says "Christian", since I am not a Roman Catholic, Protestant or Orthodox.

If people choose to be Atheist, i dont think that should be questioned coz i dont think it even matters if they became atheist after they started listening to metal. its their business isnt it? some may have been atheist all their lives. I know a lot of people who are atheist or agnostic who dont even listen to metal.

Voted for orthodox, but I'm not quite a man of faith. It's more like tradition.

Why shouldn't it be questioned? It's just another theory of life, just like every other religion/philosofi. And if you can't explain why your a (insert religion/philosofi), how can you be so sure about your belives?

Oh, I see. Seems like I missinterpreted your post once again, I'm sorry. Anyway, my point is that people are so quick to question a religion, but if you say that you're agnostic or ateist, people rarely questions you or even ask why. People nowdays, regardless of faith, seem to belive in something just beacuse it lies close to their personality. I'm not saying that people should have complex theories in what they belive in(it can't hurt though), but atleast be able ot explain for oneself why you belive in the things you do.

i dont consider all metal to be evil. perhaps black metal and death metal are evil in their lyrics but not everything. Edenbridge for example have happy, cheerful songs and they dont have any evil lyrics in their songs.

i dont consider all metal to be evil. perhaps black metal and death metal are evil in their lyrics but not everything. Edenbridge for example have happy, cheerful songs and they dont have any evil lyrics in their songs.

about the sunni/shite difference,you missed the point,you may recognize the term"alfitna alkobra" it's where it all started between Ali(R) and the khalife Mouawia then those who thought Ali was treated unfairly and deserves to rule the empire started to get out of the track,and the word Shia(shite) in arabic means supporters,so they were called that because they support Ali and follow him,but still No muslim doubts in the fact that Muhammad was the last prophet,what shites are waiting for is an Imam (some kind of an advisor) but anyway,don't think that you should either be sunni or shite you can just be a muslim,like me

I wonder what happen if Mahdi(the last imam) appear before Christ!!! he will kill all of bad guys and will send them to Muslims hell.then nothing will remain for Christ!!! and Christians hell remains empty and useless all of religions are like jokes for me.I just enjoy this jokes.
I don't know how long can you be a happy Sunni or Shia while these two are killing each other in Iraq,Pakistan,Afghanistan and even in Iran.

but the person you may be speaking of...could it be 'prophet bilal?' he is the one who came across the 'fountain of youth' a while back(before muhammed died), and ha da drink from the fountain. and since the fountain was fountain of youth, he pretty much became immortal. and thus, he walks among us to this day....unless he got killed in some bomb blast....but is it him you speak of?

I know I amn't the brightest spark here in this forum...what's the difference between fire-worship and Zoroastrianism? As much as I know...Zoroastrianism had a guy who was the high priest of Fire and he was given that task by Ahuramazda......

From what I can remember, Zoroastrians follow the teaching of the prophet/philosopher Zoroaster, known to the Western World as Zarathustra. He probably lived during the 11th century BCE, and is regarded as the world's first monotheist. Anyway, I might be wrong on some of this stuff.

@Insineratehymn....well I know that Zarathustra was an important prophet of this religion....but I know that the key God was Ahuramazda, there were also his evil twin brother Ahriman, first couple Ma?ja and Ma?janag, bunch of angels, demons and other godlike creatures plus ?ao?jant the Saviour and this High Priest of Fire.......

I don't really know about the Prophet Bilal but I know that the Imam is not a prophet at all, after the death of Ali (R) and the saddening massacre of his son and family,and the betrayal of AlHussein(Ali's son) by the Shites of Karbala,the shites felt guilt and remorse,which is still displayed in the Achoura day every year in some bloody way.
The followers started to take Imams from his descendants,and descendants from the house of Muhammad(S),because they believed that the leadership of the Empire should be given to someone among those who were related to the prophet,and it worked that way,until the 12th Imam,who had disappeared and yet the Shites are still waiting for him to come back..and still punishing themselves for the death of Hussein
But still,as I said,Islam as a religion is not devided into Sunni and Shite Islam,it's one religion, all muslims love Ali (R) (but the shites extremely adore him) because he was a great and wise man, and they all do the same prayers and rituals,the difference is historical and political.

I really really hate shias behavior in Moharram. they punish themselves with chains and even with knife and ... and they don't know why they are doing this and I never care about Proselytism.
tomorrow is off in Iran for funeral of one of these imams!!! thats so foolish
