Also - metal isn't exactly music for 'normal people.' A lot of people turn to more extreme music because they feel alienated from society. Someone who is teased as a youngster due to being overweight, for example, could have a higher chance of getting into metal.

Not that I like statistics, but it would be interesting to see the ratio of obese to non-obese people (guys and gals - I've seen some fat dudes (http://notmetal.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/gene001.jpg) at gigs). That might be a contributor too.

Replace the word "like" with "Have to".

I don't get it either; is it "Have to" as in obligation or necessity?

I had a relationship with a so called "fat chick" in my second year at university; she was not fat as far as i was concerned, she was not thin, but not fat, don't know what word to use to describe that. I got involved because I grew fond of her for a while, but not for long, we broke up after a few months.

I live in the UK, and mostly see metalheads with skinny girls. I dont think most metalheads HAVE TO date fat chicks at all...

Than I look for booze and O dont go it cost way to much, I drink at home, cant spend month money in one pub and night
