Think that this one is pretty cool. It screams Heavy metal!

I've already posted 2 of my 3 favorite album covers (Dimmu Borgir- Spiritual Black Dimensions and Moonspell- Memorial), so I'll post my third.



Besides the fact that this picture captures emotion, I like it because my favorite color is red. Blue is overrated.

Without doubt:



First of all the artwork is stunning. The second is that this is one of my alltime fav albums.

Also I think the artwork perfectly describes the dark content of ITNE!

The artwork is really one of the best covers ever, I have to admit that.. So detailed..

Incredibly excellent,it may take a few glances to make out everything.Not sure if those are jaws or just guts nailed to the wall,and it looks like the orange things are snake tongues,and it appears to be giant serpent in the water swimming to its lair,scary kind of,does it represent satan?Their logo is ingeniously crafted,and has some type of skeletal remains by it.

For me it has to be W.A.S.P.s 'The Headless Children' I dont know what it is, but this album cover always catches my eye

The Fallen Angel is the name of that album and the cover its very cool also its artwork oft he famous Luis Royo

I second that,a mass amount of detail is to be found,in the very far background it looks like their is a dragon.

The best cover has Ulver's album "Bergtatt".... (You can check it on Metal Storm I won't put any pictures )
It is very simple (I mean: in technically aspect) cover but makes strong impression feelings.
Simply form but includes wealth of meanings. Sophisticated forms and shapes not always are the best way...

Magnificently drawn,I mean its done by the great Dan Seagrave,so what did you expect.This a forgotten classic album,music is just as superb as the cover,also the logo is well crafted.

Oh, many great album covers in metal but Emperor's In The Night Side Eclipse is the best, I don't want to post a picture cause many poste this cover already, some other great covers are King Diamond's album covers

Suits the name of the album perfectly, as well as the music. Epic, desolate, melodic, ugh, Im talking like an artfag!

Definitely Emperor's In The Nightside Eclipse is among the best..



Also Mayhem - Dawn of the Black Hearts is very original and no one has ever done something like this. Dead, dead on the cover.. Bit gory but otherwise very original and killer..

Such a behemothish album cover, I would be scared to piss this guy off!
