Silent Hill (Games, not movie.)

Thanks. I wasnt a massive fan of the butterfly effect, but thats mainly because i absolutely despise ashton kutcher. I will check those others out though.

Donnie Darko and the Silent Hill games are great examples. Silent Hill are on top of my list. There's also Fatal Frame (Project Zero) games, but these are more psychological horror. Either way, its on top of my list as well.
Also would like to add Mulholland Dr., and there's a few from the master Stephen King. The Mist and 1408 are the last ones I saw and liked.

1408 was fantastic. Mullholland Drive was pretty damn good, but i dont think im going to watch another david lynch film until i work out what the fuck happened in Inland Empire!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm, I never got to watch Inland Empire yet, maybe someday soon. I like the wtf-is-happening kinda movies.. if it's good and has some sense in the end as Lynch's usually writes, it turns my head into damn water! I love it

The thing about Fatal Frame is every time I play it, I cant get used to it.. the more I play the more it scares me LOL. In Silent Hill you do, and after 4 or 5 games you get used to this kind of atmosphere and it doesn't scare you so much after a while. Fatal Frame gives you a feeling that you don't really know what you're dealing with, I guess that's the main thing, and I cant control the tension everytime you walk into a new area... and I've played all 3.

One movie to rule them all.
