I am a massive fan of the genre, and wanted to know if anyone has watched, read or played any good psychological thrillers lately. My faves: Donnie Darko Shutter Island (The book, the movie was shit) Momento Silent Hill (Games, not movie.)

Little Typo there it's Memento. Psycho Thriller I suggest you: Twelve Monkeys Oldboy(my favorite movie by a freaking long shot) The Butterfly Effect Alive(manga) Being Jonh Malkovich(not really action oriented) Adaptation(Brilliant) That's all I can think of on top of my head

Black Christmas, 1974. Come to think of it it's more of a psycho-thriller than a horror, but I guess it can be considered as both.

There's also Fatal Frame (Project Zero) games, but these are more psychological horror. Either way, its on top of my list as well. Also would like to add Mulholland Dr., and there's a few from the master Stephen King. The Mist and 1408 are the last ones I saw and liked.

Mullholland Drive was pretty damn good, but i dont think im going to watch another david lynch film until i work out what the fuck happened in Inland Empire!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fatal Frame (Project Zero here) Is a freakin fantastic game... well ive only played the second one, but it was still awesome. Looking forward to reading King's newest one, the dome or whatever its called.

I like the wtf-is-happening kinda movies.. if it's good and has some sense in the end as Lynch's usually writes, it turns my head into damn water! I love it The thing about Fatal Frame is every time I play it, I cant get used to it.. the more I play the more it scares me LOL. In Silent Hill you do, and after 4 or 5 games you get used to this kind of atmosphere and it doesn't scare you so much after a while. Fatal Frame gives you a feeling that you don't really know what you're dealing with, I guess that's the main thing, and I cant control the tension everytime you walk into a new area... and I've played all 3.
