If you've noticed (takes a quick look of it), there's always heaps of guest musicians on their albums. No issues, Soulfly has a tradition to welcome guest musicians on board to make a record sounds amazing and spectacular. It has always been a win-win situation for them, right?

Wrong. They broke the fucking jinx.

...better than Chaos?? naaaahh

He didn't say that. He said "best since".

Yep but later he said "or even since Arise", so in that case that would mean that in his opinion it can be better than Chaos... or that is was i got, anyway

Well Chaos AD was already a pretty weak album in my book. But then again Sepultura have only released two good albums Arise and Beneath The Remains, and one okayish one Schizophrenia and the rest vary from terrible to meoiocre

To be honest, the only soulfly album that i find boring are 'Primitive' and '3'-the rest i can honestly say i have enjoyed listening to. However, with 'Enslaved', they sound much more invigorated than they have done in the last few years. 'World Scum' didn't impress me all that much, but in the context of an album as vicious and ambitious as this one, it fits in perfectly. You can tell that cavalera put a lot of effort into this album, specifically because songs like 'Revengeance' and 'Treachery' break boundaries whilst maintaining their raw emotions. 'Enslaved' isn't all fury and power however, and as the very exprimental 'Plata a Plomo' shows, Cavalera still has a few tricks up his sleeve to keep the album original. The only thing i could say is that Dez Fafara isn't really needed, nonetheless he adds to the ferocity.

I never thought Chaos AD was that strong of an album, compared to Sepultura's previous material... But right now I like more songs from Enslaved than i like from Chaos AD.

Well, yes if you compare with Beneath or Arise, Chaos is clearly the weakest of the three... but imo i still think that Chaos has better songs than Enslaved . When I start to listen to Enslaved I get bored quickly, such thing doesn't occur when listening to Chaos... so who cares

This surprised me in a good way. Never been an ardent Sepultura fan, or even Thrash. But it's better than, say, the new Destruction
