Freddy Krueger:
He is a DC comics character; Demon with burnt face and body who is the main character in "Nightmare in the Elm Street" which continued in 8 series with total budget, about 58.000.00$ and sold 339.000.000$. He has a scary character who uses jokes in his talking as well.

Jason Voorhees:
He is another DC comics characters, who has a baseball mask on his face, and he was the main character in "Friday the 13th"which made in 11 series which abour 61.000.000$ budget and 353.000.000$ selling. He is a silent killing machine, who never dies.

And these two horror legends (It's alright to call them legend), face each other in "Freddy vs Jason" movie, in an almost great action/thriller/horror movie. and made a rival. but at the end, no one won or lost. in the last sense, when people thought both of them died during the fighting, Jason came out from the crystal sea with Freddy's cut head in his hand, but Freddy winks to the camera and laughs.

This battle is not over, and some say that they will face each other again in future; also there are two possible sequels about the future movie,
1- Ash Williams, "Evil Dead" movie franchise, will take part in their battle!
2- Michael Myers, "Halloween" movie franchise, will take part in their battle!
But according to New Line Cinema, in November 2007, whether Ash Williams or Michael Myers in the sequel of "Freddy vs Jason" will take part, it wont be to published soon. over years the next movie has to work on it. (Michael Myers has more chance to join the fight). Up to now, Just the name of the next movie is announced which is "Freddy vs Jason 2: The Rematch"

Ok, It was a summary about these characters, and now I want to know you like which one more?
I personally, like Jason Voorhees more, because he doesn't bother, he just kills with his saw. so I vote fore him.

Freddy for me, cuz i like psycho/nuts bad gays, like the joker, and on the other hand, Jason it's just a killing machine without any psychopathic behavior, he just kills cuz he's an angry drown child.

Jason for me because he cannot be destroyed. Also... well he's a 2 meters tall, über muscular guy with ripped clothes, a hockey maska and a machete... I like machetes.
I still consider Freddy's glove as a work of art, but I prefer the good ol' machete.

I'm with Krueger. Twisted bastard, while Jason's just a silent killing machine (not that it's bad either).

Freddy uses some wizards that I don't like, and thats because he do his works on peoples dream.. Jason fuck people in real world. the best person whom killed by Jason was the boy who had sex with Gibbs (In Freddy vs Jason). It was nice, when he closed the bed (just nice to see )
I think in next movie, if Jason starts a fight with Michael Myers of Halloween would be very nice, they both are in silent, and just kill without talking!

Ahh I dont know, both are great!!, i love when Freddy kills a guy in his motorcycle, and i love the classic sleeping bag kill, when Jason takes a girl in her sleeping bag and he smash her in a tree. Ahh how fun was that....

My vote goes for Freddy because he makes me laugh. He will not only kill you, he will tell you bad jokes while you are dieing. Awesome!

Freddy.
He's just more interesting period, i like his attitude, looks like a fun guy to hang out with, but no one would want to do that. I like the fact that he kills you in your dreams, it's more original than the conventional slasher, where the same old shit happens over and over again. Jason might be imposing and intimidating, but Freddy's got the tricks and the mojo. Intellect beats physical strength.

i must vote for jason. though i will not deny Freddy's inventive killing-ness. i prefer jason's cause he is ingenuities with his murderings. plus he killed a person with a flying v, proving that music can kill some people. on top of that, he's got that whole quiet, crazy, must-kill vibe that i dig so much. ...him and varg should party.

I actually hate most of those movies, I've seen them all... yeah, I love to hate bad horror movies. That's all I watch with my friend, baaaad horror. But Jason... damn, he's one cool muthafucka! Especially after the sixth movie when he got super strong, then you got a lot less stabbing-the-big-knife-in-their-stomach-scenes. Like Freddy ever did something as cool as wrapping a person in a sleeping bag and then crush it against a tree? Nope! Jason beats Freddie any day. The only good "A Nightmare on Elm Street" is the first one, the rest are painful. So is "Friday the 13th" II, III, IV (except for the hillarious "remember me?" scene, I laughed so much I cried), V (worst one), VII and VIII. The first one is actually really good, the sixth is pretty bad but at least it has an awesome soundtrack, the ninth wasn't that bad (love the scene where he cracks the head in the car door) and the tenth is just one big cheer-for-Jason-movie... not good really, but brings back so many memories and is a very nostalgic trip. And of course, another funny sleeping bag scene!

Jason also has a much more interesting and dark background than Freddy. Freddies dreams are gay, Jason's "schii-schii-schii-ha-ha-ha" are just feartastical! Especially in the first movie.

Oh, and I would kill several times over and over to see "Jason vs Ash"! Ashley Williams is the most bad-ass dude out there, he's the best... always... the best! You hear me? The king of oneliners! "Groovy" or "Give me some sugar baby".

I'm with Jason, because he looks really cool with his hockey mask and all that. He's just awesome, that's it.
